Water Activities

Lake Pokegama is a beautiful 5,000 acre lake that offers natural access to the Mississippi River. It is cool, clean, and the sandy shore and gently sloping beach offer great access to everything the waterfront offers! The lake is perfect setting for campers to develop a respect for the beauty of our planet.

Swimming

With an emphasis on safety, certified Water Safety Instructors teach Red Cross courses from Beginner to Advanced Swimmers. There are also several supervised free swims everyday.

Sailing

Certified U.S. Sailing Instructors utilize the fleet of J-boats, E-scows, 420s, Day Sailors and Barnett 1400s to develop proficiency from beginner to expert.

Mishawaka maintains 2 Ski Nautique boats used exclusively for waterskiing and wakeboarding. Instruction is available to the beginner and advanced skier.
