Lake Pokegama is a beautiful 5,000-acre lake that offers natural access to the Mississippi River. It is cool, clean, and sets a beautiful backdrop. The sandy shore and gently sloping beach offer great access to everything the waterfront offers!

SwimmingWith an emphasis on safety, certified Water Safety Instructors teach Red Cross courses from Beginners to Advanced Swimmer. There are also several supervised free swims everyday. |
SailingCertified U.S. Sailing Instructors utilize the fleet of J-Boats, E-scows, 420s, Day Sailors and Barnett 1400s to develop proficiency from beginner to expert. |

CanoeingFundamental canoeing skills are imparted to give campers the confidence to enjoy varied outings from day trips to week-long adventures. Sequential course work allows campers to advance skills in all waterfront areas. |
FishingPerch and panfish are plentiful right from Mishawaka’s docks. Mishawaka also has a 21-foot pontoon boat for fishing the secluded coves of Lake Pokegama where northern pike, bass and walleye hang out. (Pictured result not typical, but awesome!) |

Waterskiing and WakeboardingMishawaka maintains a Ski Nautique boat used exclusively for waterskiing and wakeboarding. Instruction is available to the beginner and advanced skier. |
KayakingMishawaka has 18 kayaks for paddling the bay or day trips on the lake! |
