  • Thank you for your interest in working at Camp Mishawaka. This "quick application" is designed to give the Directors of Camp Mishawaka a snapshot of your skills and interest. In addition to leading camp activities, each Counselor takes a role in the residential life of our campers. We are seeking young men and women who have special skills and interests to serve on staff. In addition, each staff member must be committed to working with young people in a group living environment, and committed to working safely.

    Working as a Camp Counselor at Camp Mishawaka presents tremendous opportunities, and also comes with great responsibilities.

    Upon receipt of this application, you will be contacted by Camp Mishawaka, and based on our staffing needs, asked to complete a more detailed application.

    Proceed with this application if you meet the following job requirements:

    • Are a US Citizen. (Foreign staff need to use one of the placement agencies in their home country)
    • Have completed one year of work or school beyond High School.
    • Are able to work effectively and safely with children.
    • Are able to adjust your personal habits to the philosophy, policy and goals of Camp Mishawaka.
    • Are available to begin work on June 10th, 2012, and through August 12th, 2012

  • I understand that this application is for a seasonal camp counselor position at Camp Mishawaka.

No promise regarding employment has been made to me, and I understand that no such promise or guarantee is binding upon Camp Mishawaka unless it is made in writing and signed by the Director.

    In the event of my employment with Camp Mishawaka, I will comply with all rules, regulations and policies set forth in Camp Mishawaka’s personnel policy or other communications distributed by Camp Mishawaka I also understand that Camp Mishawaka has the right to modify its policies without giving me any notice of the changes. I understand that if an employee relationship is established, I have the right to terminate my employment at any time for any reason. I also understand that Camp Mishawaka retains the right to terminate my employment at any time for any reason.
